Costs
Retinal surgery costs in Singapore
The total cost of retinal surgery depends on the complexity of the procedure, the type of anaesthesia, hospital charges, and whether Medisave or insurance is used. Below is a general guide to what is involved in the fee structure — please contact the clinic for a personalised estimate.
MOH publishes fee benchmarks for common surgical procedures at private hospitals, including vitreoretinal surgeries. These benchmarks show the typical range of total bills (surgeon fee + hospital charges) and can help you set expectations before your consultation.
No-surprise policy: Dr. Wong's practice provides a written fee estimate before any procedure. The estimate itemises all expected charges so there are no unexpected costs. If you have questions about a specific procedure, please contact the clinic for a personalised estimate.
